While outing coordinators Jack Grimes and Paul Chambers were off golfing the hard work was left to many others including Brandy Grimes, Kathleen McHugh, Linda Hughes and Jenny Szumetz. Pictured above selling 50/50 raffle tickets and chances to win the Chinese Auction.

  The idea for a golf outing in his niece's name originated from Demi's uncle, Jack Grimes. Jack wanted to find a way to ensure that Demi's name and spirit would continue to bless us all for years to come. From there he and Paul Chambers contacted the Murrysville Golf Club, booked a date and the "ball" was officially rolling. YIKES!!! At this point we had an idea, a golf course and a date...NOW WHAT?

That question would soon be answered and "A Round For Demi" came together at a rapid pace. The event would not have been possible without the help and efforts of so many, first and foremost Demi's parents Jodi and Gary Cuccia. They along with their families and friends formed a team that could not be stopped. Team Demi.

In addition to the newly formed Team Demi, we were fortunate to have the help of Jack Kerrigan, Ryan Carmen and the entire staff at The Murrysville Golf Club. Without their help and heart felt efforts none of this would have been possible, for that we sincerely thank you.

After just 4 weeks of planning, on October 6 2007, the 1st annual "A Round For Demi" Golf Outing/Dinner Party went off without a hitch. Many who attended referred to it as "The best  event they had ever been to".
